What to expect from your session...

BEFORE THE SESSION

First we will work together to select a day & time that works best for your session. Next, I will send you a contract and questionnaire to get to know you a little more and determine the kind of vision or ideas you may have to help me customize your session. I do require a signed contract & retainer to hold your session date. I am happy to answer any questions you may have regarding use of props, what to wear, or what to expect from your session. Newborn sessions include a prep guide, which should answer most of your questions but you can always shoot me an email and I am happy to answer anything additional.

DURING THE SESSION

Photo sessions are typically about an hour long. (Newborns can last 3-4 hours) We will meet at the agreed upon location at the scheduled time, go over any special photo requests that you may have. I will talk to your kids like they are my newest friends and ask them questions to get them comfortable with me. We will do lots of different poses, find various backgrounds, and venture around our location to find the best light. I try to keep things relaxed, chat about you and your family a bit and try not to make it all about posing or fake smiles. I like to capture the candid moments just as much as the smiling at the camera moments. I’m happy to accommodate any fun posing ideas you have, or any props you’d like to incorporate. At the end of the session, I’ll answer any last questions and then we’re all finished!

AFTER THE SESSION

About 1-2 days after your session I will post a sneak peek to social media. Approximately 2 weeks after your session, I will email you a link to your online gallery where you can view your images and make your selections for purchase.
