Hi, I'm Crystal!

I have always had a love for photography. I remember when I was 8 years old taking photos of everything with my 110mm film camera. It was always just a hobby until I had my first child and wanted to help others preserve these intimate moments in life. I immersed myself in photography and taught myself the basics before taking formal courses in film and digital photography. I also enjoy the business side of things and have a Masters of Business Administration, M.B.A. from Concordia, St. Paul. My main role in life is Mom to 3 wonderful kids and a loving wife to my high school sweetheart. We live out in the country with our 2 Corgis (Bella & Murphy) and Pomeranian (Betty White) and we can't forget about Lenny the opossum who drops by the backyard at times to hangout. Don't ask me about our squirrels either. IYKYK.

My studio is located in downtown Monticello, MN but I shoot all over the metro area and will even travel if you want me to! I am very flexible and want to capture these priceless moments just for you. What I enjoy photographing the most is the details we all take for granted in life: tiny little hands wrapped around dad's finger and that first look between a bride and groom. These moments happen in an instant and it is my hope to be there and capture them for you!
